? Madison Hockey League – 2026 Iron Man Tournament! ?
Get ready—the 2026 Iron Man Tournament is coming! This year’s event is extra special as we skate closer to completing our beautiful new rink. To help us finish strong, we’re inviting players to make a small (optional) donation:
-
$5 per Rec League player
-
$10 per Adult League player
Every bit helps, and participation does NOT require a donation—but your support makes a huge difference!
And yes… you read that right!
This year we’re opening the tournament to teams made up of our Adult League players as well!
Start building your teams now—don’t get left out of the action!

• Puck frozen by players - ref will whistle play to stop, instructing players to back off and then immediately restart play by whistle.
• Puck out of bounds - If one team clearly caused the out of bounds then ref will give the ball to the opposing team to take out from the approximate spot of out of bounds, opposing players must be 20’ away. If it is unclear which team caused out of bounds then the ref will put the ball in play immediately between opposing players.
• Puck out of bounds due to shot at goal - The team that did not cause the out of bounds will “take out” puck from the goal line. Opposing players must be 20’ away.
• Penalty – Ref will notify the scorekeeper to award a penalty shot to the fouled player. Penalty shots will be taken at the end of the game once time has expired.
• If tied after regulation time & penalty shots, play will resume with a “sudden death” overtime.
